"Amend HF 1613" Postcard Basilica of St. Mary, et al

A consortium of Twin Cities community organizations, led by the Basilica of St. Mary, met to fight an impending bill in the Minnesota House of Representatives. The bill had a provision that could allow landlords to bring on financially crippling legal problems to low-income housing applicants. While the bill was fairly technical, this postcard put a face on this provision and called for it to be removed from the bill. Three thousand postcards later, the bill was dropped in favor of a similar Senate bill that did not contain such a provision. [Review Piece]
